

Ruth E. Zinck, age 95 of Beavercreek, passed away in her sleep on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Trinity Community in Beavercreek following an extended stay. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Clarence E. Zinck, in 2003. She was also preceded by two brothers, Louis Limbert and Rev. Fr. William Limbert and a sister, Rosemary Crutchfield. She is survived by her children: daughters; Judith (Ronald) Knoshaug of CO, Anne (Daniel) Demmy of Enon and Mary Jane (Edward) Hinde of Kettering and one son, Joseph (Kimberly) Zinck of Beavercreek. Ten grandchildren also survive her: Eric Knoshaug, Alyssa Knoshaug Gleinn, Julie Demmey Mercier, Amy Marie Demmy, Bonnie Demmy Harbage, Ruth Hinde Pera, Marianne Hinde Hudelson, Claire Dorothy Hinde, Jesse Zinck and Carrie Zinck Siftar. Fifteen great-grandchildren also survive her. Ruth was born in Dayton OH to Alois and Frances Lambert, who also preceded her in death. She was a loving and devoted grandmother to her family; she also found enjoyment in farming, quilting and square dancing. She was a 1937 Alumna of Stivers High School. Ruth and Clarence were charter members of St. Luke Catholic Church in Beavercreek; a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated there on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:30 AM by Fr. Terry Schnieder. Friends may call on the family from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the Church on Saturday. Interment will be in Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, OH.
