Sara Lynne Zonaras

ZONARAS, Sara Lynne passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017. She was surrounded by her heartbroken family and close friends. She is survived by her devoted parents Kimberly and James Zonaras. Her best friend and sister Katie Parks, brother-in-law Matt Parks, niece and nephews Lily, Charlie and Henry Parks whom she adored. Loving grandparents Phil and Norma Harris and George and Catherine Zonaras. Her aunts, Tracy (Tom) Whited and Pam (Marty) Dunsky. Uncles Chris Harris and Tom (Dawn) Zonaras. Cousins, Karlie Dunsky, Krisitin Dunsky and Kevin Dunsky and Grant Zonaras and Dylan Zonaras. Sara was injured and changed for life in a car accident in Oct. 1988. Over the years she had many wonderful nurses who helped care for her at home. We’d like to give our sincere thanks to them, especially Diana Banks, Shawna Potter, and Amy Williamson. Also for her Aunt Tracy. Special thanks to Dr. Herment Shah and the nurses and staff at Kettering at Hospital CCU. Sara was the most amazing, brave, kind patient and caring person. Despite her limitations she was always smiling and gave all she had to others. She touched everyone who knew her in a positive, impactful way. She loved reading, music, travel, movies, concert and shows and her family most of all. She’ll be missed every day by those who loved her most. A Celebration of Life will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429 on Sat. October 28, 2017 from 1to 4 pm. Sara was cremated per her wishes.
