Shirley Ann Gerspacher

Gerspacher, Shirley Ann (Simpkins), age 81, of Riverside, Ohio passed away at her home on Monday, June 17, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Henry Gerspacher; three daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Michael Tims of Oswego, IL., MaRita and James (Jed) Messer of Dayton, OH., Annalisa and Darren Ghanayem of Moorpark, CA.; seven grandchildren, James (Jimmy) Messer, Steven Messer, Marjorie Howell, Annie Williams, Ryan Tims, Lauren Tims, Jade Ghanayem; one great-grandchild, Felicity Messer. She was a dedicated, caring and compassionate wife, mother and friend to many. She was an avid gardener and had a great love for all animals, especially her two poodles, Shadow and Lisa . She was also an active long time member of St. Helen’s Parish, Saville Hilltoppers Garden Club, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. A Celebration of Life mass will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd, Riverside, OH with Father David Brinkmoeller presiding. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the mass on Saturday.
