Steven Wead, age 70, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wead in 2009. His parents, Earl and Phyllis Wead, also preceded him in death, as did a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Rob Clawson. He is survived by a step-daughter, Amy (Johnny) Casey, and three grandchildren: Leah Travis, Brook Travis and Ciera Dunn. He is also survived by a niece, Victoria (Jon) Crooks, and a great niece, J'Mya Crooks, as well as many cousins and friends. He was a graduate of Belmont High School in 1973. He and Linda were married in 1986 and enjoyed 23 years together. He retired from the Beavercreek Kroger in 2018. Visitation will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 12 Noon until 1 PM. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM following the visitation. Interment will be in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
