

Tom loved bicycling, history, and traveled for seven years all across the USA, including working at Disney World. Tom volunteered for the Red Cross and the VA. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force soon after graduating from Kiser High School. He retired from NCR after 34 years.
Tom is survived by his wife Karen (Alexander) and his children: Thomas Luckett, Jr (Beth Deutscher), Patricia (Roger) Bechstein, Robert Brian Luckett, Deborah (Brett) Hunter, stepson James Douglas (Rachelle) Patton and stepdaughter Jennifer Patton; ten grandchildren, Sarah Bechstein, Leah Davis, Daniel Luckett, Amanda Hunter (Austin Vierling), Jessica Hunter, Jacob (Jean) Luckett, Aren Patton, Micah Patton, Luke Snider, and Grant Snider, as well as five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his eight siblings, Martha Huber, Ernestine Coon, Aline Chandler, Charles Luckett, Maude Wainauskis, Clarice Kane, Mary Ellen St. Aubin, Joseph Luckett, and former spouse Doris Wallace Luckett.
A celebration of life will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432, on August 5, 2025, with a Visitation beginning at 10 AM until the time of Service at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 1 PM with Military Honors.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Tom’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Red Cross.
