

OSBURN, Virginia I. Passed away on May 18, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the kind of person who lived life to the fullest, had the most generous spirit, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her legacy of unconditional love and laughter will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her sons Mike Osburn, Jeff (Angie) Osburn; grandchildren Jennifer (Ed) Lorents, Lisa Osburn, Hayley Arcos, Michael Bryan Osburn, Morgan Osburn, Megan Osburn, Rob Osburn, Taylor (Ryan) Graf, Emily (Brandon) Lingenfelter; great-grandchildren Jordan, Gracie, Alivia, Carter, Harmony, Beau, Brooklyn, Blake, Braxton, Camdyn, Bentley, Benzley, and Levi; siblings Linda Murphy and William Schoen (Rose); a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Urban and Luella (Day) Schoen, siblings Margaret (Bill) Roark,
Nancy (Mike) Santoro, and brother-in-law Tim Murphy.
Virginia was employed at Alter High School for 42 years. She loved her “work family” and was an avid fan of Alter High School’s musicals, plays, basketball, football, and volleyball games.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for a Visitation on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 from 10:00 AM until Noon with a Funeral Service to follow with the Pastor Roger Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 West National Road, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.
