

EVERHART, Willard “Bud”, age 74, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014. Bud grew up in Chillicothe and had been a resident of Xenia and Beavercreek. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard J. and Hazel M. Everhart, and brothers, Tom and Kenny Everhart. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi (Hecker) Everhart; sons, Bruce (Jennifer) Everhart, Joseph (Lisa) Hipple, Sung Hipple; Brett (Sheila) Everhart; daughters, Laura (Jim) Fish, Missy (Steve) Thornhill, Tonya Everhart; sisters, Joanne (Martin) Barlage, Sandra (Richard) Scherer, Janet Kaltenbach, Judy (Johnny) Johnson, Jayne (Jim) Herrnstein; brother, Howie (Barb) Everhart; numerous grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and numerous other relatives and friends. Bud retired from the Mead Corporation after 34 years, was the owner and operator of Bud’s Sports of Dayton, and Skates & Moooore of Dayton and Cincinnati, and worked for A.O. Smith and EDS. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dayton. Bud loved golf, bowling, softball and volleyball. He was a member of the Beavercreek Senior Center and also volunteered with the Citizens on Preventative Patrol (C.O.P.P.) in Beavercreek. Bud was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with Pastor Steve Thornhill officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 5 pm – 8 pm Monday, March 31. The family has requested all in attendance to wear Ohio State University clothing or colors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Hospice of Dayton or SICSA.
