

Aldrich, William F. (Bill) age 85 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife and childhood sweetheart Nancy L. Aldrich, parents Gerry and Cecilia Aldrich, and brother Jerry (Diana) Aldrich. William is survived by his daughter Cathy (Jon) Durrenberg; son Bill (Karen) Aldrich; grandchildren, Abby (Robby), Liz (Andrew), Andy (Kelsey), Dustin (Allie), Josh, Tori (Austin), Sam, and Grace; great-grandchildren Harper, Hadley, Silas, Beckham, and Haven; brother Jim (Ann) Aldrich, and brother-in-law Jimmy Ehlers.
Bill's priorities in life were his faith in God and his family. His wife, Nancy, was the love of his life. Together they were very active in Fairhaven Church for many years. Bill most recently was active in Centerville Community Church.
Many people will remember Bill as a teacher, coach, and principal in Kettering City Schools prior to his retirement. He spent many years playing softball and is in the Dayton Softball Hall of Fame. He was also an avid golfer. Being a sports fan, he and Nancy could be found at most of their grandkids' sports activities.
The family will receive friends at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek from 11 am – 12 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026. Following the visitation, funeral services will be held at 12 pm, at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel. Pastor Don Dillavou officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
