Bill Buckholt, aged 82, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on February 16, 2026. Born on September 4, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bill was a vibrant presence known for his humor and zest for life.
Bill proudly served in the Air Force, where his dedication and service were in alignment with the highest standards of military excellence. While serving in the Air Force, he earned a Master's degree from the University of Kansas.
In his community, Bill was an active member of the Greenebucs chapter of Ambucs, an organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities. Bill loved to go to the various conventions to hand out bikes and scholarships, as well as meet various members.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Pat Buckholt (Tokar); his sister, Mary Lynn Reed (Buckholt); his son, Aric Buckholt; and his granddaughters, Amanda Meriney (Buckholt) and Kristen Buckholt. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Miles Meriney. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Buckholt, and his grandson, John Buckholt.
His legacy of laughter, service, resilience, and love will continue to inspire and resonate within the community and beyond.
