William Mark Davis, 93, died on December 15, 2016. He was a resident of the Masonic Home in Springfield. He previously resided in Centerville. Bill graduated from Parker Co-op in 1940. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946. He worked at NCR as a tool designer and equipment buyer from 1940 to 1976, and at Gosiger and Advanced Machinery as a used equipment seller from 1976 to 1987. Bill was a charter member of NCR Country Club and an avid golfer until 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Grace Davis, brother Robert Davis, wife Evelyn, and adopted sons Jack and Timothy. He is survived by his daughter Joan VanAntwerp (Lewis), Dayton, OH; his granddaughter Heidi VanAntwerp (Geoffrey Robinson), Daniel, WY; sister Eloise Blair, Appleton, WI and her sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren; sister-in-law Patricia Baker, Evanston, IL and her sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Miami Cemetery, Waynesville, OH.
