William P. Flynn

FLYNN, William P. age 69, died Monday at Hospice of Dayton after an extended illness. He was retired from General Motors, DELPHI Automotive Systems, after 33 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Flynn; his sister, Susanna Flynn; father-in-law, George Horobin; and sister-in-law, Judith Horobin. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith; 3 sons, W. Patrick, Joseph, and Robert; 2 daughters, Kathleen and Mary all of Dayton; 3 brothers, James (Elaine), Michael and Timothy; 5 sisters, Mary, Karen (Dan Russell), Sister Fran Flynn, SC, Eileen, Molly (George McDade) all of Dayton; mother-in law, Gwendolyn Horobin; 2 brothers-in-law, David Horobin of Cincinnati, James Horobin of Dayton; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Lemaster and Ann Horobin, both of Dayton; an aunt Dolores Staley; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday, December 21, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Dayton Ohio 45420. The Knights of Columbus, Council 3730, will conduct a prayer service at 7 pm Friday. Prayers 9 am Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering Ohio 45420, Burial, Calvary Cemetery.
