Wilma Will, age 81, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She is survived by her high school sweetheart of 65 years, Thomas Will, daughter Lori Brunner, daughter-in-law Jennifer Will, brother Charles "Jerry" Walk, as well as many grandchildren: Jacob (Melissa) Will, Carolyn (Mike) Cox, Jessica (Kyle) Moyer, Sara (Lee) Fowler, Rebekah (Ursula) Will/Alfaro, Amanda Brunner, Nicholas Brunner, Benjamin Brunner and Allison Brunner, great-grandchildren: Camila Will, Adrian Will, Timothy Moyer, Ellie Moyer, Carter Cox, her special friend and sister in law Joan Will, and nieces and nephews Ty, Chuck, and Cindy. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Charles E. Walk and Gertrude (Hopkins) Walk, father-in-law and mother-in-law, F. Mark Will and Elsie Will, and sons Jerry, Timothy and Jeff Will.
Wilma had a huge passion for sports; from coaching synchronized swimming for over 10 years, to watching the Dayton Flyers, playing golf, and never missing a single family member’s sports game--she was involved in it all.
Her other passions lied in a variety of other hobbies, whether that was gardening, spontaneous travelling with her husband, Thursday night dominoes with her girlfriends, hamburger nights, and weekends trips to Indian Lake. Wilma’s greatest passion, however, was undoubtedly her family whom she loved more than anything.
She was a part of Kettering School District working as a librarian for many years.
