Yvette Blanche Roser found her way to heaven on March 25, 2026, at 90 years of age. Born in Epinal, France on February 26, 1936, she immigrated to Dayton, Ohio at a young age alongside her parents and three siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Frederick and Suzanne Roser, and her siblings; George Roser, Muguette Notz, and Edith Vlack as well as her precious pets Jolie, Fritz, and Bijou.
Affectionately known as “Taty” Yvette, she is survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews – as well as countless dear friends. She was a mother and grandmother figure to many, and she never forgot a birthday.
She loved traveling, The Sound of Music, and potato chips with sour cream. Yvette served loyally as a Kitchen Supervisor at St. Elizabeth Hospital for over 40 years. A faithful parishioner of St. Anthony’s Parish, she was a devoted Catholic and beloved child of God. She lived on Creighton Avenue in Dayton for almost 50 years and was well-known as a good neighbor to everyone she met.
Unmatched in kindness and generosity of spirit, our worlds are a little darker without her in it, but much brighter in having known her. She will be greatly, enduringly missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home- BELMONT CHAPEL (648 Watervliet Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420). Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church (830 Bowen Street, Dayton, Ohio 45410). She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
