Ashine, Zewge B., age 54 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Ashine Mekonnen. He is survived by his mother, Almaz Abegaz, and four sisters: Kefay Ashine, Haregewein Ashine, Etsegenet Yohannes and Elleni Ashine. His nieces and nephews also survive him. Zewge was a prolific artist who spent most of his time drawing and painting. He was a deeply compassionate man who did all he could to help others. A funeral service will be held at St. Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Church, 300 Maryland Ave. Dayton, OH 45404 on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will be held in Woodland Cemetery on Thursday, August 27 following the funeral of his brother-in-law, Dr. Theodros Yohannes.
