Funeral service for Audrey Roberts Hamilton, 86, of Decatur will be Monday, April 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Shelton and Bishop Jay Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Hamilton, who died April 18, 2014, at NHC in Moulton was born June 25, 1927, in Lawrence County to George F. Roberts and Charlcie Ann Roberts. She was a faithful member of The Church of God of Prophecy, a sunday school teacher and assisted her husband in planting and pastoring five churches. Her impact for the Kingdom of God was great, but yet to be fully realized this side of eternity.She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James M. Hamilton and her parents.Survivors include a son, James W. "Jay" Hamilton, wife Tanya; daughters, Ann Wallace, husband Jim, Linda Shirley, husband Wayne, Rita Hicks, Lesley Shelton, husband Tim; grandchildren, Dana Shirley Greata, Brooke Wallace Bevis, Leann Hicks Bramlett, Audrea Shirley Holladay, Andrea Shirley Stringer, Jacob Hicks, Will Hamilton, Jayson Hamilton, Charlcie Ann Shelton; and 18 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Jay Hamilton, Will Hamilton, Jayson Hamilton, Jacob Hicks, Chad Bevis and John Bramlett.
