Bobby Gene Calahan, age 78, of Decatur, Alabama passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at his residence.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, Alabama 35601. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Benny Silvey officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur City Cemetery.

Bobby is survived by his wife Dorothy Calahan, son Terry Calahan, step son Walter (Katrina), grandson Preston Calahan, granddaughter Jennifer Edmonson (Johnny), two brothers Lloyd Calahan (Sherry). Jimmy Calahan (Joyce), two sisters Dorothy Russell (Mike), Frances Hanson, one brother-in-law Ed Jones.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents L.B. and Doris Calahan.
