Cynthia Kay Chandler, 64, of Decatur, died Sunday, April 5, 2015. Her visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Brother Doug Fields is officiating.
Mrs. Chandler is preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Phillis Simmons.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gene A. Chandler; sons, Gene (Charlene) Chandler and Phillip (Jill) Chandler; daughter, Cecilia (Garion) McCleskey; sister, Carol (Richard) Taylor; brother, Steve Simmons; granddaughters, Megan Chandler, Kaylee Chandler, Sarah Chandler, grandson, Jonathan McCleskey, granddaughter, Jessica (Justin) Parker, grandson, Garth Greene; and great-granddaughters, Raina Parker and Jadeyn Greene.
Mrs. Chandler loved spending time with her family, especially hunting and fishing with her husband, and serving others.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
