Dallon Lee Morris, age 62, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 9th, 2024. Dallon was born December 5, 1961. His visitation will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 1:30 PM with Pastor Brent Lewis officiating. He will be laid to rest at Midway Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.J. Morris; mother, Opal Jean Morris and sister, Tarlyn Janiel Morris.
He attended Calhoun Community College, and the University of North Alabama with multiple degrees. He retired from Walmart in 2009, and then had the aspiration to become a Registered Nurse, by completing the nursing program at Calhoun Community College. After completion of his degree and certification, he worked at Huntsville Hospital, Lawrence Medical Center, and Occupation Health Group of Decatur.
Dallon will be greatly missed by his husband, Brian Tyree; mother-in-law, Martha Tyree; sister, Tamela Jan Elmore (David); niece, Bethany Andrea Hutto, and great nephew, Jayden LeCompte. And many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dallon loved having gatherings with his family and friends, driving his red convertible Mercedes, and spending time with extended family and friends. He was a loving and caring person, devoted to his husband, and family. Always trying to take care of others, before himself. Cherishing his puppies, Brilon and Bunny.
