Doyle Maynard Osborn

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 18th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. His Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Funeral Home, with Harold Fanning officiating. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.

Doyle is survived by his son; Keenna Osborn, of Decatur, and daughter; Karren Little(Joe) of Hartselle, sister; June Clark of Priceville, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Melba Osborn, sisters; Rilla Morgan, LeeAnna Denton, Bertie Russell, brothers; Palmer Osborn, Wilmer Osborn, Bill Osborn, and Cecil Osborn.

Doyle was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4190, lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #655, a Master Mason in the Coosa Valley Lodge #929, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #4185 and the D.A.V.

He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War and loved to volunteer to help veterans causes, and was a lifelong Crimson Tide Fan.

He was a welding inspector for and retired from Fluor-Daniel Corporation.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Roselawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
