Ernest Eugene Pressley

Mr. Pressley was a Sr. Project Manager (Retired) with Fluor Daniels. Sonny was a veteran of the Korean War – MPC Co C 728th MP Bn; Lifetime member of VFW Post 4190; 50 Year member of the Lodge of the Rising Sun and Member of Elks Lodge of Decatur. His employees stated that Sonny was highly respected and the best leader that he had ever worked for.

Mr. Pressley is survived by his sisters, Virginia Kinder of Langley, OK and Margaret Cain of McAllen, TX and many loving nieces and nephews. Stepdaughters: Teddy Rogers of Decatur, AL, Suzette DeMent of San Antonio, TX, Kellye Sparks of Steele, AL and Stacye Chen of Monmouth, New Jersey.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey E. Pressley and his parents, Guy and Sadie Pressley of Liberty, S. C. and seven brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 12 2015 at 11:00am at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Barry Sempsrott officiating. Burial will at Roselawn Cemetery.
