Funeral for Ernest Cecil Segler Sr., 64, of Decatur will be today, March 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Segler, who died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at his residence, was born December 17, 1946, in Paducah, Ky. to Irby and Margaret Segler. He retired from Wolverine Tube and a member of Decatur Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Edna Segler; son, Ernest Cecil Segler Jr.; daughter, Candy Anita Segler; brother, David Mark Segler Sr.; grandchildren, Andrew Segler, Haley Segler, Bayleigh Kyker and Sawyer McCormick.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Thornberry, Brian Simmons, Barry Simmons, Jack Owens, Keith Hines and Cecil Segler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Segler and David Segler.
