Jimmy Ray Ratcliff, 84, of Danville, Alabama, passed away on July 24th, 2018. His visitation will be on July 27th, 2018 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, with Tom Campbell and Dylan Jones officiating. Jimmy will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Jonathan Ratcliff, Jason Ratcliff, Tambry Ratcliff, Pam (Felton) Hanners, and Rhonda Lindsey; grandchildren, Nina (Tyler) Jones, Philip Braswell, Josh Ratcliff, Dylan (Casey) Jones, Alicia Allen, Peyton Lindsey, and Tristian Ratcliff; great-grandchildren, Addison, Cole, Payton, and Audrey. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Bobbie Sue (Banks) Ratcliff; his parents, Pascal and Allene Ratcliff; and his grandchild, Zachary Lindsey.
Pawpaw Jim left family and friends with many happy memories. As a retired Air Force Lt. Cpl., Pawpaw enjoyed sharing stories of his time in the service. He loved Alabama Football, CNN news, antique cars, tractors, raw oysters, and the beach. Playing around with his Grand and Great-Grand children is a memory that will be forever cherished by those close to him. Pawpaw Jim enjoyed the simple pleasures of life by living each day that God gave him to the fullest. Roselawn Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jimmy Ray Ratcliff.
