Funeral for Joseph Franklin Little Jr., 78, of Hillsboro will be today, June 2, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Richard Thompson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Little, who died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at his residence, was born March 20, 1934, in Pemiscot County, Missouri, to Joseph F. Little and Lura Henderson Little. He was in the wholesale and retail business for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, John H. Little.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Shirley Thompson Little; three sons, Joe Little (Karren) and George Little, both of Decatur, and Dennis Little (Renee) of Moulton; one daughter, Beth Wesley (Bruce) of Red Springs, N.C.; one brother, Keith Little of Murray, Ky.; two sisters, Jane Little Boren of Steele, Mo., and Kaye Little Moore of Hazelwood, Mo.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
