Lois Catherine Stanley, 92, passed away on October 21, 2017. She was born on April 28, 1925 in Texas. She graduated from Josephine School in Josephine, Texas. She was married to the love of her life Sam, for 44 years. Lois and Sam lived their entire marriage in Decatur. They ran the Texas Sweet Onion Shed and L&S Greenhouse for many years. They were lifetime active members of 9th Street Methodist Church.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Grady Stanley; parents, Marcus Gordon Clack and Roxy Castle Clack, and two brothers, Gordon Henry Clack and Maurice Martin Clack.
She is survived by 8 nieces and nephews, as well as, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A visitation service will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Roselawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
