Margaret Morris Lane, age 99, passed on April 15, 2026. Born March 31, 1927, in Hartselle, AL, to Clarence and Myrtie Morris. Margaret lived in Hartselle, Alabama. Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on April 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm with Greg Lane and Joe David Bailey officiating. She will be laid to rest at Basham Cemetery in Hartselle Alabama.
Mrs. Lane is survived by daughters, Donna Fleming(David) and Kathy Taylor (Greg); granddaughter, Laney Peebles (Anthony); great-grandson, Brian Peebles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Lane; brothers, Millard Morris, Price Morris, and Carl Morris; sisters, Earline Hardin and Opal Herring.
Pallbearers will be Greg Taylor, Anthony Peebles, Brian Peebles, Gerald Taylor, Joel Herring, Von Herring, and Brett Herring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Of The Valley.
