Mitchell Roland Willingham

Services will be on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at First Bible Church of Decatur. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 with funeral following at 4:00. Pastor Paul Cheshier will be officiating. Pallbearers will be cousins and friends.

Mitchell was born on June 27, 1991 to Jeff and Darlene Willingham in Marietta, GA. He grew up in Decatur, AL with his beloved brother Adam Willingham. He attended First Bible Church of Decatur.

At 17, Mitchell experienced a life changing injury in which he suffered a very serious traumatic brain injury. Due to God's amazing grace and Mitchell's determination, positive attitude and years of hard work, he far surpassed all expectations of his medical team. Mitchell rose above and went onto graduate from Austin High School, marry the love of his life Brittany Willingham, and to be blessed with two beautiful children, Hayven and Adam. He was employed by First Bible Church of Madison. Mitchell lived his life to the fullest and with every cloud he found a silver lining. He was characterized by joy, laughter, and loyalty. He loved going on adventures with his wife.

Mitchell is survived by his wife, Brittany Willingham; two children, Hayven and Adam; his mother, Darlene Willingham; his much loved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of friends.

Preceding him in death was his dad, Jeff Willingham; his brother, Adam Willingham; and Grandparents, Jack and Helen Willingham; and Ira and Betty Adkins.
