

The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Graveside service will follow the funeral at Roselawn Cemetery.
Nada was born in Decatur on September 3, 1934. She was married to Bailey Cook on October 22, 1954. They were married 60 years.
Nada worked as a secretary for Monsanto for 31 years. She was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church, Huntsville Civic Chorus and a charter member of Decatur Civic Chorus.
She is survived by the following: husband, Bailey G. Cook; children, Steve Cook (wife Cissy) of Hartselle, Brad Cook of Tanner, Charissa Cook Hayes of Madison; grandchildren, Tessa Cook Junker (husband Dax) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ashley Hayes of Madison, Jada Cook of Hartselle; great-granddaughter, Bella Aslan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Ray Praytor and family of Conyers, Georgia, along with other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by Hubert W. Praytor (father) and Louise Young Praytor (mother).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to Hospice of the Valley, Ninth Street United Methodist Church and Decatur Civic Chorus.
