Nick Lee Tolleson, 44, of Decatur passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. The visitation will be today, April 16, 2011, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. Funeral service will immediately follow in the church. Officiating will be Dr. Terry Greer. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mr. Tolleson was born January 03, 1967, in Boaz to Gerald and Sue Tolleson. He was the co-owner and CEO of White Oak Transportation, partner of Team One Contract Services, co-owner of Alabama Food Service and Chairman of the Alabama Trucking Association Workman's Compensation Fund. Nick was a member of First United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family, boating, hunting, and Alabama football. He graduated from The University of Alabama in 1989 with a business degree.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gena Paige Whitt Tolleson; daughters, Mary Ashley Tolleson and Morgan Ansley Tolleson; parents, Gerald and Sue Tolleson; brother, Jimmy Tolleson; sister, Marie McCullough; grandfather, Frank Cammaratta.
