Rodger Dale Veal, 35, of Decatur passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm at South Decatur Church of God with Pastor Jay Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6:00 pm til 8:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vinemont. Pallbearers will be Church Friends.
Rodger was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Louannie Snow and Ruby Speegle. He was a member of South Decatur Church of God where he did the maintenance work and worked in the food pantry there at the church.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Shela Veal; brother, Ronnie Gene Veal ( Regina ); nephew and nieces, Kyle, Anna and Kendra Veal.
