
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Pearson of Decatur and Carol Pearson Osterman of Atlanta; granddaughter, Amelia Pearson Underwood; sisters, Ann Thibodeaux, Betty Poche, Joan Zachary and brother, John Liebert. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ed Pearson; and three brothers, Joseph Liebert, Terry Liebert and Richard Liebert. Rosemary was a loving mother and grandmother, and known throughout the community as a caring and devoted friend, who will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched.
She was born December 29, 1922, in Ponchatoula, La., the first daughter of Joseph and Gertrude Liebert. For more than 60 years, she was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, now Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church here in Decatur.
The family will have a visitation at Annunciation of the Lord beginning at noon Friday, September 24, 2010. A burial mass will follow at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Father Ray Remke. Burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bob Bell, Charlie Gibbs, Eric Schotz, Travis Hardwick, Dick Wilder, Andy Woods and Jim Lamont.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to a charity of your choice
