A celebration of life gathering for Steven will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home & Roselawn Cemetery, 741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, Alabama 35601.
Mr. Hillis was born on October 18, 1952 to Edward and Ruby Blalock Hillis. Mr. Hillis proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Hillis is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ron and Gary Hillis; three sisters, Darlene DeWitt, Judith Black and Dana Tripp.
He is survived by his wife, Benita Atchley Hillis; brother, Eddie Hillis; two sisters, Lynn Kelso and Faye Davis; sister-in-law, Karen Hillis and numerous nieces and nephews.
