Funeral for Terry Marie White, 55, of Decatur will be Thursday, June 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Waldrep officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. White, who died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital, was born February 27, 1956, in Decatur to Alton and Evelyn White. She was a teacher/school counselor at Priceville Elementary School. She enjoyed martial arts, loved animals, loved family, and enjoyed counseling others. Mrs. White was a licensed counselor in family affairs and was pursuing a Ph.D.
She is survived by her parents; one sister, Carol White; one niece, Whitney Williams; and one nephew, Kyle Dean.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Taylor, Bobo Taylor, Mark Mason, Raylon Ayers, Rickey Nails and Steven Thompson.
