Deacon Barbara R. Snyder

Deacon Barbara R. Snyder, age 84, of Bay Shore, New York passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Barbara was born July 28, 1937. She was a woman faith, serving God and the community as a deacon at the Ascension Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife who enjoyed her moments spent with her husband, also a deacon, and crocheting.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Bob, and beloved children Barbara Snyder, Laura McKeefery (John) and Linda Krauthamer (Michael). Cherished grandma to Michael, Shannon, Jayson, Jackson, Tracy, Stephanie and Gilbert. Proud great-grandmother to Bella.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729. A church service will occur Friday, January 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 33 Bay Shore Rd, Deer Park, New York 11729. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleums, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
