Marcial Maniago Chiong passed away on December 20, 2017 at his home in Long Island, NY, peacefully in the arms of family. He was a practicing physician for over 60 years. Respected patriarch of a large and loving family, Marcial will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Pacita, his children Carmen, Marcial Jr, Ricardo and Michael, their spouses, his five grandchildren, and countless relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his eldest child, Rene.
Born 1928 in Santa Cruz, Zambales, Philippines, he enjoyed traveling the world, carrying out medical missions, and serving the Lord. He was a former Pastoral Steward of BLD Rockville Centre. He will be remembered for the guidance, mentoring and generosity to those he came into contact with throughout his lifetime.
