My Cousin Margaret Ann,
She was the cool cousin , a drummer like her dad, way before it was cool to be a “Chick” drummer. Visiting her from a dirt Road Town in rural Connecticut were some of the highlights of my youth.
Here smile was infectious an I have such fond memories of 
Margaret. Her life was “IS” a blessing ❤️

Margaret was a person ahead of her time. She always saw the potential in people and got them to shine. Margaret hired me out of school as a production assistant while she freelanced as a producer for Metcom Productions in 1981. Later she brought me into the Cablevision family. I say family because that's what she inspired in us. She was responsible for the can do, do anything attitude that was the model for the culture at Cablevision. Margaret was the boss, but ultimately a mentor for many. My deepest condolences to her family. She was special.

Maggie May…one of my favorite people.  As you walk with the angels, remember how loved you are down here and how we will all be reunited one day.  God bless you.

Margaret was just so special. I’m so sad to hear this news & sending her family love. She was the biggest mentor, confidante & protector. I feel so lucky I was able to know her & will cherish those memories.  May she rest in eternal peace.

Margaret had an uncanny ability to connect with everyone around her regardless of position or title, seeing the potential in all of us. She hired me, and like so many others, mentored and encouraged me to challenge and believe in myself. She ranks up with some of the smartest, strongest women I’ve ever known. Words cannot express the loss of such a beacon in this world. Go gently into that good night, dear Margaret.

Maragret gave me my first real job opportunity as a production intern during the summer of 1980.   That experience set me on my way for the next 36 years of work in television, most of it spent at Cablevision,   That was long ago and far away, but  I remember Margaret as being fair and firm, and a good boss for a newbie.  Clearly, she left a lasting impression and impact on everyone who has commented on this list.

RIP.

Margaret was one of my first career mentors. She was everything I could have asked for in a role model: smart, fair, approachable and supportive. Condolences to her family, friends and colleagues whose lives she left a lasting mark on.

To the special people in Magaret's life, my heartfelt sympathy goes to you all. I was another kid out of college to whom she gave a chance at Cablevision in 1979.  It launched me in a career that lasted over 40 years.  I am forever grateful to her.  She was the coolest boss, in a big-sister kind of way, and we all loved her.  Rest in Peace, Margaret.

I am sad to hear of this.  Margaret and I certainly had our creative differences during those early days at Cablevision.   But time can bring clarity.  I got an unwanted push that led me to my future success. Which I am thankful for, which I always hoped I could say to her directly.  So I say it now.  Rest In Peace Margaret,  you were a bright leader.

I met Margaret shortly after I started working at Cablevision in January 1980.   She was always a delight to be around.  She had natural leadership qualities and easily attracted the loyalty of coworkers and her staff members.  During the NBC/Cablevision Olympics Triple Cast in 1992, I had the great pleasure of working closely with Margaret on a daily basis at 30 Rock.  Her ability to  maintain a sense of humor and a calm head amidst  the stress of deadlines created a fun and joyful workplace for me. It was always great to run into her at the annual Fourth of July celebrations.   She was a light for so many.

I am truly sad and heartbroken . Margaret hired me in 1978 and taught me to become a very successful employee. Margaret was a great leader, amazing person and cared about everyone.  My condolences to her family and friends.

Farewell to my chief. I always enjoyed working for Margaret, she was a fair and respectful person. Go find your friend Ted  Jako., I’m sure he misses you too.

Margaret was an amazing leader at Cablevision.  I was very fortunate to work with her for many years.  She was the epitome of class and a calm force of nature who could handle any crisis with ease, she had the utmost respect  from all of her colleagues.  She was one of a kind, with a wicked sense of humor and I will always remember her fondly.  My deepest condolences to her family.
