Richard was a proud father to his two children, Linda and Rick, and a cherished father-in-law to Rick’s wife, Danielle. He was a devoted grandfather to Evan, Jaclyn, Taylor and her husband John, and a proud great-grandfather to Knox, the son of Taylor and John.
Family was the center of Richard’s world. He dedicated his life to ensuring those he loved always felt his guidance, support, and unwavering presence. His strength and determination were evident throughout every chapter of his life.
Richard cherished his career with Delta Airlines, and even in his final days, he often spoke being on a plane soaring through the sky. He and Joanne shared many wonderful adventures together, traveling to destinations they both loved over the years.
One of Richard’s greatest passions was fishing, especially the treasured time spent with family and friends in Montauk aboard the LinRic. The stories he could tell from those days brought laughter and joy to everyone around him.
Richard will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and loyal friend. He had a special way of making people feel welcome, valued, and at ease. His friendships were as meaningful to him as his family, and those fortunate enough to know him will forever carry memories of his warmth, humor, kindness, and love.
His legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless moments of happiness he created throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
