Rita Brown

Rita Brown, 89, of Deer Park, NY on September 12, 2021. She loved getaways to the Sunshine state of Florida where she enjoyed the ocean and playing golf with her friends. She is remembered for her exceptional knitting and crocheting while taking in a good Hallmark movie. She will be missed by all.

Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas A. Survived by her beloved children Peggy Petersen (Bill), Thomas A. Brown Jr. (Betty), Barbara Brown and Catherine Ford (George). Cherished grandmother to Kristen (Shane), Billy (Emma), Kerri (Eben), Katie, Thomas III (Hannah), Andrew (Jessica), Michael and Jennifer (Cassel). Devoted Grammy to Daniella, June, Shane, Travis, Brendan, Justin, Connor, Kaylee and Kieran.

Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729 on Wednesday from 2-4:30 PM & 7-9:30 PM. Funeral Mass 11:15 AM Thursday at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
