

Carlton Roy Mousseau, 80, of Lighthouse Point, Florida and Holland, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 15, 2026, in Boca Raton, FL. He died peacefully in his sleep at Hospice By The Sea.
Carl was born in Plattsburgh, NY to Ralph and Bertha Mousseau on October 7, 1945. He attended high school at Mount Assumption Institute. After graduating, he studied mechanical engineering at Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY.
Upon graduating in June of 1967, he was immediately employed by the paper mill as a mechanical engineer in Carthage, NY. While working there, he received his draft notice and joined the Navy in the summer of 1967. He graduated from Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI in the spring of 1968. After three months of training at OCS, he was stationed on two destroyers, the USS Turner and later the USS Tattnall, both in Mayport Beach, Florida. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war and was discharged as a Lieutenant in 1969.
On August 10, 1968, Carl married Patricia Greenley, who he was introduced to by his best friend during his senior year of college. From that point, Carl and Pat moved to Bardstown, KY where he was employed by Owens-Illinois. While living in KY, their two children were born, Michelle, in 1974 and Mark, 1976. Carl was promoted and moved to O-I headquarters in Commack Long Island, NY in 1977. The following year, headquarters moved to Ohio and Carl worked at Levis Park in Perrysburg, Ohio. Here he was involved in several divisions. He contributed to the development of products applying his technical strengths of research, problem solving, and developing patents.
Carl was a member of the Bardstown, KY JVs. His love of golf started at My Old Kentucky Home Golf Course in Bardstown, KY and continued at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, OH where his family enjoyed playing golf together. He led a healthy life and enjoyed jogging, walking, and rucking as well as boating and traveling. Classical music, Bible study, and reading were also a passion of his.
Carl had a heart for ministering to the needy at Groceries 4 Life and hospitality towards the International ministry, both at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio.
Carl was preceded in death by Ralph and Bertha Mousseau, and sister Judy.
Carl is survived by wife, Pat, children Michelle Jacobs (Casey), Mark Mousseau (Allison), sister Linda, and seven grandkids: Jonah Jacobs (Emily), Taylor Mousseau, Eva Jacobs, Brooke Mousseau, Micah Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, and Grace Mousseau.
The family will be having a private memorial service. Carl will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery in Adams, NY.
