Eleanor Patricia Brennan of Boca Raton, Florida passed away May 24th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward, and Bertha (Curran) Brennan, her sisters; Joy (Brennan) Joseph and Margaret Ann (Brennan) Lathers and by her lifelong love, Alton Ray Smith “Catfish”.
Born in Harrisburg Pa, Eleanor grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She received her degree in Education from Villanova University and taught Elementary School in Atlantic City for several years.
Eleanor moved to Boca Raton in 1982 where she worked in accounting until her retirement. After retirement, her love of numbers prompted her to become treasurer of her HOA. Eleanor was a parishioner at St. Ambrose Church in Deerfield Beach where being a lector for many years brought her much joy.
Eleanor is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Graveside service will be Monday June 3, 2024 11AM at Holy Cross Cemetery Yeadon, PA.
