Kathryn S. Menning, 101, of Deerfield Beach, FL and formerly of Hamden, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 11 at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. She is survived by her son, Richard Menning; daughter, Susan Trisler; son-in-law, William Trisler; grandson, David Dragan; two great-grandchildren, Bradford and Brooklyn Dragan; and many dear friends. Mrs. Menning, who was a member of the Shields Sisters who played the violin at the Shubert Theater in New Haven CT, will be laid to rest at Deerfield Beach Memorial Cemetery following a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Hospice, Miami Lakes. Arrangements entrusted to Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Deerfield Beach, FL.
