

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday January 11, 2016 at the Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, 217 E Hillsboro Blvd Deerfield Beach FL 33441, from 5-9 pm, with a prayer service at 7p.m. A church service will follow the next morning Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 380 South Federal Highway Deerfield Beach FL 33441. Louis will be buried, alongside his wife, at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Cancer Support Community Greater Miami, 8609 S. Dixie Highway Miami Florida 33143.
Louis was born on July 3, 1928 in Bronx, New York to Basil and Therese (Ruggiero) Arasi. Louis served in the army from January 1946 to March 1947. On June 26, 1949, he married the former Anna LoPresto in New York. Louis worked for the New York City Department of Sanitation for over twenty years. He enjoyed spending time with Anna and their large family; Anna Arasi predeceased him on January 5, 2013.
Louis is survived by his four sons and two daughters, Louis Arasi, Jr. & his wife, Pattie Arasi, Charles Arasi & his wife, Mary Arasi, John Arasi & his wife, Carmen Pintado-Arasi, Paul Arasi and his partner Eric Roeski, Teresa Spielmann & her husband, Kurt Spielmann, and LouAnn Guglielmo; fifteen grandchildren, Allison McGinley, Lisa Ruddock, Catherine Arasi, Jacqueline Arasi, Jeffrey Arasi , Jameson Arasi, Julie Arasi, Christine Arasi, John Arasi, Jr. , Kurt Spielmann, Matthew Spielmann, Anna Marie Spielmann, Anthony Guglielmo, Nicholas Guglielmo, and Robert Guglielmo; and four great grandchildren, Bryson McGinley, Nathan McGinley, Kit Ruddock, Jr.& Maddox Ruddock.
