Sharon Vinson

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, 217 E. Hillsboro Blvd., Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441. Burial will at once follow at Deerfield Beach Memorial Cemetery.

Sharon was born on July 29, 1957, in Strawberry Point, Iowa, to Kenneth and Dorothy Conner. She graduated from Coconut Creek High School in 1975 and earned her nursing degree from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1978.

On May 10, 1980, she married Dennis Vinson, and together they raised three children: Jennifer, Jessica, and Daniel.

For going on five decades, Sharon poured her heart into the nursing profession. She worked most of her career in hospitals and was deeply respected by colleagues and those she cared for.

Sharon was a devoted Mother whose love was quiet but steady, even when life was not. She taught the value of hard work and grit. Her loyalty never wavered. Sharon’s resilience has shaped her family - past, present and future - in lasting ways.

She is preceded in death by her beloved children, Jennifer Vinson and Daniel Vinson; her Huband, Dennis Vinson, her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Conner; her brother, Michael Conner; and her sister, Lisa Burkhart.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Jessica Vinson; her granddaughter, Lillian Vinson; and her brothers, Robert Conner and Douglas Conner.

Sharon will be remembered for her strength, resilience, dedication to others, and the deep, lasting impact she made on those lucky enough to know her.
