Bernard J. “Bernie” Kramer passed away on June 27, 2021 at the age of 102. He was born on July 13, 1918 in Steelton, Pennsylvania. He was a WWII Veteran, who served his country as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic for the United States Army Air Corps. He entered into the service in 1942, and was honorably discharged after the war in 1946. He then worked for the government in Pennsylvania for a while before taking a job as a supervisor at Tinker Air Force Base in Del City, OK where he lived for the rest of his life. He had a wife named Agnes and four children, Tom, Ken, David, and Sandy.
Bernie was well known for his devout Catholic faith, and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church since its founding. He was very involved in all aspects of the church, whether it be helping with Meals on Wheels or changing lightbulbs and helping with other church maintenance. He also had a love for doing puzzles in his spare time. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Agnes Kramer; son, David Kramer; son-in-law Dan Raven; four brothers, Gilbert, Joseph, Samuel, and John Kramer; and two sisters, Helen Mull and Jean Gill.
He is survived by his children, Tom Kramer (wife Tandye), Ken Kramer (wife Kathy), and Sandy Raven; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
