Betty Dove (Henderson) Curtis made her transition from this life on July 27, 2023. It was important to Betty that this not be a sad moment, but memories of a life well spent with smiles and laughter. Born December 15, 1936 to Tom and Ernestine Henderson, Betty graduated Atoka High school in 1955. On November 7,1957,Betty married the love of her life, James D.Curtis and enjoyed an amazing marriage for over 65 years where she was additionally blessed with two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her loving sisters (Bea Birchfield, Ruth Vickers), their husbands, a niece and 3 nephews. Betty’s quick wit and sarcasm, strong faith, and abundant love for her family, will be greatly missed and will live on through those she loved the most .
