

He graduated from Carl Albert High School. Charles was employed by Baker Hughes Intq for 25 years.
He united by marriage to Candasa “Candy” Simon on May 29, 1999 in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Cloyd Leroy Murphy III. Charles is survived by his wife, Candy Murphy;
children, Jeannie Murphy, Chase Murphy, Cheyenne Murphy, Andy Lane, and Tony Lane; sisters, Theresa Crames and husband Paul,
Mary Simpson and husband Will, Rhonda Redd and husband Tony, Donna Mitchell and husband Lavert, and Jolene Russell and husband Dan;
a grandson, Zane Lane; five nieces and four nephews; in-laws, Jean and Mac McManes, and a host of other family members & friends.
Charles was one of a kind. He loved watching Nascar, riding his Harley, working in the yard and spending time with loved ones and friends.
His proudest moments were the birth of his children and providing for his family. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Charles never met a stranger and he will be sorely missed by everyone who had the opportunity to meet and know him.
