Charlotte grew up and was a second generation Californian. She enjoyed Sees candy, reading, traveling, RVing, and spending time with her loving family. After her husband’s passing, Charlotte moved to South Carolina to live with her daughter, Linda. While living here, she discovered NASCAR and could name all the teams and drivers. Most importantly she loved the Lord Jesus Christ and knew him as her personal Lord and Savior. Charlotte was outgoing and personal and made new friends everywhere she went. She had a great sense of humor and would laugh at off-color jokes that would shock the whole family. She easily laughed and poked fun at herself even when she was very ill. She had a great outlook on life and was a positive person to be around.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete Henry; and outlived all of her siblings. Survivors include her children, Linda Akers, (Florence, SC), Mike Henry (Jill), (San Jose, CA), Rodney Henry (Becky), Fairfield, CA); five grandchildren, Laura, Karen, Megan, Sarah and Crystal; eight great-grandchildren, Alaina, Granger, Kayla, Sierra, Henley, Mercey, Evren, and Harper.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
