Chris Murray

Davonna Christine "Chris" Murray was born June 14, 1970 in Oklahoma City to Alton and FAy (Rycroft) Murray. She was reared and educated in Moore. Chris graduated from Moore High School in 1988. Chris worked at Silver Star construction. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. Chris enjoyed watching television and researching facts about her favorite shows and characters. Chris was a die hard OU football fan. Chris will be remembered for her warm smile, quick wit and her ability to make everyone smile. She departed from this life on January 21, 2008 in Norman, OK. She was 37 years 7 months and 7 days at the time of her passing. She is survived by the love of her life Lance Walker and two sons, Derek Murray and Dalton Murray of Norman; her parents Al and Fay Murray of Norman; one sister Barbara Parks and husband Charles of Harrah, OK; and one brother Jimmy Murray, of Norman, OK; one grandmother Rachel Murray of El Dorado, Ark; as well as other relatives and a host of friends. Chris was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Elson Murray and her maternal grandparents Homer and Dorothy Rycroft. Funeral Services wil be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
