

Cliff proudly served his country during Vietnam in the United States Air Force and retired after 24 years of service. Golfing was his favorite hobby and he enjoyed playing Sudoku, eating at Casa Juanita’s Mexican Restaurant, watching OSU football and teasing his grandkids.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Kaitlin Dooley; siblings, Clara Bailey, Gladys Bloomberg, Dorothy Foley, and Eugene Higgs. Survivors include his loving wife of almost 54 years, Ann; children, Dianne Dooley (Jim), Denice Swedberg (Calvin), Clifford Higgs, Jr. (Tracy), Deidra Halko, Dana Quillen (Jim), Chief MSGT Christopher Higgs (Amy); grandchildren Jordyne Halko, Elizabeth Higgs, Cory and Jessica Higgs, Haley Swedberg, Kinley Quillen, Rachel Swedberg, Parker Quillen, Devin Higgs, Keely Dooley, Cade Quillen and Jackson Higgs.
Cliff will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Cliff’s name to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
A visitation room has been set up with Cliff's, video, guestbook, and the family has brought in some of his favorite knick nacks and memorabilia. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, 30 September 2013 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
