Curtis Henry Gray, 93, passed away on July 16, 2014, eight days earlier, July 9, 2014, Curtis lost his only son, Randall C. Gray. Curtis was born on June 13, 1921 in Marlow, OK to John Wilson and Olive Ann (Hamby) Gray.
He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Air Force. Curtis enjoyed playing solitaire, paint by numbers, mall walking, feeding the birds and squirrels and working crossword puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 50 years, Monie B. Gray; son, Randall C. Gray; siblings, Herman, Orville, and Clifford Gray, Lola Mae Tyree, and Lucille Bowman. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Bross (Tom); grandchildren, Aaron Gray (Jessica), Robert Gray, Lawrence Gray, Daniel Gray (Clara); great-granddaughters, Taelyn, Hensley and Franchesca Gray; and one sister Ruth Kennedy.
Family will be receiving other family and friends, Tuesday July 22, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Military honors will follow at the Arlington Memory Gardens.
