He completed high school and created a career for himself as a machinist. Darryl was married to Glenda May Gresham. He enjoyed eating out, watching old westerns and football. Often children would mistake him for Santa Claus. Darryl had love for his little dog, Dolly, and for anything related to cars. Whether it was working on them or adding to his large collection of ’30, ’40 and ‘50’s model cars.
Darryl’s memory will continue to be cherished by his wife, Glenda, sons, Darryl W. Gresham and Rodney Haden Gresham, daughter, Darla Bethel, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
